Google API Services Disclosure

This disclosure describes how Google APIs are used by a private, owner-operated automation associated with this domain. It is published for transparency and for Google OAuth verification purposes.

1. This website is not the automation

This website is a personal professional portfolio. It has no accounts, no login, and no Google sign-in. Nothing on this site asks a visitor to connect a Google account or any other account.

The automation described below is private and operated by the site owner for their own Google account. It is not a public product, not a public sign-up service, and is not offered to visitors or third parties.

2. Authorization

The automation may use Google APIs, including Gmail API, only after the account holder explicitly authorizes access through Google OAuth. No access exists before that authorization is granted, and access ends when it is revoked.

3. Scopes requested

  • gmail.readonly — read-only access to email messages, requested as the minimum necessary scope for the described purpose.

No broader Gmail scope is requested. If a future feature ever required a wider permission, it would be authorized separately and explicitly, and this disclosure would be updated first.

4. Limited purpose

Selected Gmail message content is read solely to generate and deliver an owner-requested daily project digest — a short private summary of work-related activity. Processing for that purpose may involve Google Cloud, the Anthropic Claude API, and Slack, each used only to produce and deliver that summary to the owner's own private channel.

5. What the automation does not do

  • It does not modify, delete, archive, or send Gmail messages.
  • It does not sell Google user data.
  • It does not use Google user data for advertising or creditworthiness decisions.
  • It does not use Google user data for unrelated profiling.
  • It does not share Google user data with third parties except where necessary to provide the requested service, as described in section 4.
  • It does not provide Gmail-derived content to any visitor of this website.

6. Limited Use

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Revoking access and deletion

Access can be revoked at any time from Google Account security settings, under third-party access. See the Data Deletion and Google Account Access page for revocation and deletion steps, or contact hello@example.com.
